Data Analyst, Global Financial Planning and Analysis ( 12 month secondment/ contract)

Description

This role at KPMG involves working within the Global Budget and Business Planning team. The primary responsibility is to support budgeting and business planning processes through accurate data management and insightful reporting. This includes gathering and validating data, designing and creating dashboards and reports, ensuring data governance for informed decision-making, and identifying process improvements for data and reporting solutions.

What We're Looking For

Collect, consolidate, and validate budget and business planning data.,Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations for strategic decision-making.,Maintain databases, reporting tools, and SharePoint sites for reliable access, version control, and effective information management.,Ensure data quality and governance.,Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand data needs and respond to reporting and analysis queries.,Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and usability of data and reporting solutions.,Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related field.,3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization with a focus on financial data.,Proven experience in tools such as SQL, Power BI, Power Query, and Excel.,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.,Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.,Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field.,3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization with a focus on financial data.
