Description

This position at Epic Games primarily focuses on supporting the data requirements for E-commerce and payment functions. The Data Analyst will collaborate with various cross-functional teams, working under the guidance of the E-Commerce Manager and Analytics Business Intelligence Director. Key responsibilities include optimizing data processes and programming logic for capturing, transforming, maintaining, and validating the quality of both internal and external data essential for financial and accounting operations.

What We're Looking For

Work across Accounting, E-Commerce, Finance, and Analytics teams, sharing KPI-driven reporting and insights.,Develop a deep understanding of Epic's products and become an expert on all collected analytics data.,Create and maintain standards for dashboards and reporting initiatives, ensuring appropriate data visualization, consistent standards, and accuracy.,Collaborate with other data analysts to determine customer needs and effectively visualize report outputs.,Support users of the self-service data pipeline to enhance their understanding and appropriate use of data.,Document requirements, and deliver both written reports with analysis and charts on dashboards.,Take accountability for the quality of data reported by products, working with engineering and QA to monitor and improve it.,Perform statistical data analysis and advanced analyses to demonstrate the impact of various decisions within the game.,Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence or Statistical Data Analyst.,Demonstrated skills in visualizing data, specifically using Tableau.,Passion for sharing data with others.,Strong written and verbal communication skills.,Demonstrated understanding of contemporary video games and analytics best practices.,Passion for the gaming industry.,Experience in E-commerce analyst roles.,Preference for applicants with experience in SQL, Hive, Presto, and Distributed Computing.
