Data Analyst (8-month Co-op)

Description

Lumerate is seeking a post-secondary student for an 8-month co-op position on their Data Team. The role primarily involves reviewing, analyzing, categorizing, and formatting biomedical content from the web using online tools. The co-op will also contribute to developing and scaling data processes to ensure internal quality and accuracy standards, with opportunities to influence data best practices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, curious about data (qualitative and quantitative), and interested in leveraging machine learning tools to solve complex data problems within a lean startup environment.

Ideal Candidate

Registered full-time or part-time under a co-operative education program in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution.,A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.,Legally entitled to work in Canada, including specific province legislation and regulations.,Ideally enrolled in a bioinformatics or biological sciences program.,Strong understanding of biological and life science topics through academic coursework or prior co-op terms.

Minimum Education

Post-secondary student enrollment in a co-operative education program (preferably Bioinformatics or Biological Sciences)

Work Hours
