Bell Canada is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant II to deploy and configure various security solutions in medium to large enterprise environments. This role involves technical design, deployment, integration, and remediation of security solutions, working closely with customers and internal teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving successful technical security solution delivery, providing technical support, and continuously learning new technologies. A valid Secret security clearance and location in Ottawa are mandatory.
Installing, patching, and organizing cable infrastructure (fiber optic, copper).
Complex testing, deploying, integrating, and remediating security solutions.
Contribute to the development of detailed architecture solutions, analysis of functional/technical specifications, creation of testing documents and build books.
Working directly with Customer Technical Leads, Bell Technical Leads, and supporting team members to drive successful Technical Security Solution delivery.
Providing technical support services to develop and maintain integrated security solutions.
Ownership of outcomes and ability to learn quickly and deploy on time.
Taking technical training on new technologies and integrating them into new products.
Deployment of technologies such as Network Security, Endpoint Security, Email Security, Cloud Security, Firewalls, DLP, IDS / IPS.
Hold a valid Secret security clearance or higher.
Be located in Ottawa.
Work in office 5-days/week.
Eager to learn and implement new technologies.
Ability to multi-task on multiple projects.
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts at technical, user and management levels.
Strong troubleshooting and networking foundation.
Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously with minimal supervision.
Experience defining requirements, providing security guidance and best practices.
Experience implementing and configuring security solutions.
University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent College Diploma and experience.
3+ years of delivering Network and/or security projects.
Canadian Citizen.
SECRET or TS clearance.
Cisco experience (preferably Network, Firewall and/or Collaboration).
Working knowledge of Office365 and Visio.
Working knowledge of ITSG-22/ITSG-33, or NIST CSF/ISO 27000 (Preferred).
Some experience with programming/scripting (Preferred).
Experience in participating in the recommendation of security best practices for the design and configuration of Security Solutions (Preferred).
Bilingual (English & French) (Preferred).
University Degree or College Diploma
5-days/week in office, flexibility in work hours based on business needs
Requires Secret or TS security clearance, must be located in Ottawa, full-time in office work arrangement.
