Description

This role at RBC involves being a primary contact for clients seeking home and auto insurance advice. The specialist will provide insurance solutions, ensure an excellent client experience, conduct needs assessments, and explain policy details, while also contributing to sales goals and collaborating with internal partners. Training and support are provided to obtain necessary insurance licenses.

What We're Looking For

Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients through inbound calls.,Maintain a positive client experience and resolve concerns efficiently.,Perform personalized needs assessments and reviews.,Understand regulatory risks when underwriting and updating insurance policies.,Effectively use procedures during client interactions.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners.,Willingness and ability to successfully obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate (delivered by l'Autorité des marchés financiers) and the General Insurance License for Ontario Other Than Life and other provinces.,Bilingualism (English and French) is required, with a high level of reading, comprehension, and speaking in both languages.,Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with clients.,Flexibility to work all shifts within the hours of operation (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 8:30pm).,Digital literacy across a broad range of services (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.).

Ideal Candidate

Ability to successfully obtain Quebec Damage Insurance certificate (AMF) and Ontario General Insurance License (Other Than Life).,Bilingualism (English and French) - High level of reading, comprehension, and speaking.,Nice-to-have: Possession of the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate (AMF).,Nice-to-have: Post-secondary education.,Nice-to-have: Knowledge of insurance products.,Nice-to-have: Customer service and/or sales experience in a contact centre environment.
