The Credit Portfolio Manager II (CPM) at TD Bank performs financial analysis for credit decisions on new and existing business, supporting the commercial banking team. This role recommends credit solutions, manages a commercial loan portfolio for compliance, and identifies potential risk issues. The CPM handles complex credit activities, works on larger deals, and acts as a consultant to business lines regarding credit matters. They also coordinate with Account and Relationship Managers for financial analyses and credit investigations.
Manage complex credit activities ensuring quality, consistent underwriting, and timely performance.,Work on larger, complex deals, primarily in Middle Market and specialized lending.,Act as a consultant to business lines regarding credit issues, processes, and procedures.,Function as a resource for business lines and collaborate with senior management on various issues.,Partner with Lending/Credit Officers to address exceptions identified by auditors/examiners.,Perform periodic inspections at customer sites to audit accounts and ensure adherence to loan agreements.,Coordinate with Account and Relationship Managers for routine financial analyses and credit investigations.,Manage and oversee workflow and adherence to policy for the department.,Participate in organizational cost-benefit analysis and implementation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.,10+ years related experience.,Strong understanding of commercial business development techniques and credit decisions.,Demonstrates credit and financial analysis skills.,Working knowledge of capital markets is a plus.,Refined negotiation skills.,Demonstrates communication skills, both verbal and written.,Demonstrates PC skills.
