Credit Analyst II - TDEF

Description

This role involves evaluating the creditworthiness of current and prospective customers for TD Bank, structuring financing facilities, and ensuring compliance with credit risk policies. The analyst will prepare credit reviews, approve draw requests, and manage a standalone portfolio to drive profitable business growth. It also entails working with senior management on complex transactions and continually improving customer service.

Assess creditworthiness of customers.,Structure facilities adhering to TD's credit risk policies.,Prepare credit reviews.,Approve draw requests.,Monitor and control for driving profitable business growth.,Structure and package competitive credit solutions on time.,Prepare high-quality credit applications with risk assessment, structure, due diligence, and presentation.,Assess and structure requests for large and complex financing opportunities.,Actively participate and contribute to the management of TDEF standalone portfolio.,Deliver sound equipment financing expertise.,Present larger, complex transactions to senior management.,Deliver exceptional service and improve customer experience.,Contribute to business objectives for Operational Excellence.,Interpret business challenges and recommend actions.,Participate as a team member, support a positive work environment, and ensure timely communication.,Provide product and industry knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer.,Keep current on emerging trends and developments.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree and/or over 5 years of relevant experience.,Substantial expertise in credit risk assessment and ability to structure.,Excellent analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.,Proficient in using MS Office Suite, productivity tools, and end-user software.,A dynamic professional with a positive approach.,Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and colleagues.,Robust organizational skills and ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
