The ALDO Group, a global footwear and accessories company with over 1,500 stores in 100+ countries, is looking for a Costing Analyst. This role is crucial for ensuring costing accuracy, enhancing financial insights, and collaborating with various teams to ground business decisions in reliable data. The analyst will contribute to strategic impact, operational excellence, and leadership and collaboration within the company's financial foundation.
Establish and enhance costing policies, processes, and controls.,Champion continuous improvement for costing accuracy and operational efficiency.,Deliver reporting on ELC vs. actuals, IMU performance, and system variances.,Align cross-functional teams to reduce discrepancies.,Assess financial risks and opportunities for new initiatives and sourcing strategies.,Support system upgrades and FP&A process enhancements with a costing lens.,Partner with Accounting for accurate month-end results and variance analysis.,Support budgeting and forecasting for Supply Chain and Sourcing.,Investigate account variances, validate reconciliations, and ensure timely journal entries.,Lead monthly business reviews.,Conduct financial modeling for projects, investments, and cost-reduction initiatives.,Prepare presentations for leadership and perform monthly ELC audits.,Ensure costing processes are understood and followed across operational teams.,Foster alignment through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.,Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.,Participate in team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.,CPA/CFA/MBA is an asset but not required.
