Corporate Protection Officer

Description

CIBC is seeking a Corporate Protection Officer to ensure the safety and security of bank employees, clients, and visitors. This role involves monitoring the premises, identifying and addressing security breaches, and responding to potential threats. The officer will act as a visible deterrent while blending into the business environment, conducting patrols, and restricting access to authorized personnel. The position requires a proactive approach to anticipate and mitigate risks, making quick decisions in dynamic situations to maintain a safe environment.

What We're Looking For

Follow all aspects of the CIBC Code of Conduct and applicable policies.,Act in accordance with CIBC's Purpose and shared values.,Understand and follow Risk Appetite Statements.,Complete all mandatory annual corporate training and business-specific modules.,Escalate inconsistent activities or adverse market practices.,Speak up against behaviors leading to poor outcomes.,Monitor and preserve safety and security.,Be easily identifiable yet blend into the business environment.,Perform periodic patrols, alert for irregularities and policy violations.,Challenge unauthorized/suspicious persons.,Restrict access to secured bank space.,Anticipate and assess spontaneous events/threats.,Make speedy and appropriate decisions to halt threats, escalating use of force proportionately.,10+ years of prior Law Enforcement experience.
