Description
This internship at National Bank of Canada involves contributing to financial analysis, optimizing processes, and developing tools to support strategic decisions. The role focuses on improving analytical environments, participating in financial calculations and monitoring, analyzing revenues and expenses, developing dashboards, and optimizing analysis processes within the Corporate Finance sector. What We're Looking For
Improve and implement analytics environments or tools (Excel, SAP, SQL) to support critical financial activities.
Participate in calculations, analyses and monitoring related to capital, liquidity and key financial indicators.
Analyze revenues and expenses from different angles to support financial performance.
Develop or optimize dashboards and visualization tools to improve understanding of results.
Optimize or automate analysis processes, especially with tools such as Power Platform.
Participate in the continuous improvement and simplification of financial disclosure and analysis with the different business lines.
Be enrolled in a university program in finance, mathematics, analytics, economics, accounting, or a related field.
Have a good command of Excel and an interest in data modeling or analysis.
Have a basic knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA or any other relevant language.
Demonstrate an interest in continuous improvement, process optimization or data visualization.
Demonstrate agility, autonomy, rigor and have a good sense of organization.
Ideal Candidate
Enrolled in a university program in finance, mathematics, analytics, economics, accounting, or a related field.
Interest in data modeling or analysis.
Interest in continuous improvement, process optimization or data visualization.
Minimum Education
University program (Bachelor's Degree or higher in progress)
