Description
This role involves analyzing and structuring complex pricing solutions, providing strategic support to sales teams, and optimizing offers to maximize client value and support organizational growth objectives within iA Financial Group. The consultant will evaluate risks in life, critical illness, and disability insurance, produce high-quality assessments, negotiate with reinsurers and sales forces, and offer consulting and coaching services in financial analysis. They will also share knowledge across departments, collaborate on financial and tax solutions, and lead training sessions on Mid Market pricing.
What We're Looking For
Evaluate risks in life, critical illness, and disability insurance, providing high-level expertise for advanced financial selection.,Produce superior quality assessments with a service turnaround time of less than 24 hours.,Negotiate with reinsurers and the sales force.,Offer consulting, support, and coaching services as a financial analysis resource within pricing teams.,Share knowledge with various departments, including oversight and quality control for agents and MGAs.,Collaborate closely with the financial and tax solutions team to provide comprehensive service, including preliminary analysis of large case pricing files to generate new business, and be available for any Mid Market pricing questions.,Lead presentations and training sessions on Mid Market pricing for MGAs and advisors regarding iA's pricing philosophy, new guidelines, or clarifications of existing rules.
Ideal Candidate
University degree (BAC) and/or 10 years of relevant experience in pricing, with a minimum of 5 years as a underwriter in the intermediate market.,ALU designation (an asset).,FLMI designation (an asset).
