Consultant/ Senior Consultant, Data Analytics - Deal Advisory
Description
KPMG is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant/Senior Consultant for their Deal Advisory team in Toronto, Canada. The role involves leveraging data, analytics, intelligent automation, and AI to provide insights and build solutions for clients in a deal environment. The successful candidate will work with deal teams to evaluate business performance, financial projections, and identify value creation opportunities through in-depth data analysis.
What We're Looking For
Evaluate a business' historical performance, sustainability of earnings/cash flows, financial projections, and opportunities for value creation.
Work with large volumes of data (structured and unstructured) – investigate and perform deeper analysis to produce impactful insights.
Draft detailed professional reports and other client deliverables (e.g., Excel schedules, PowerBI dashboards, results of predictive models).
Develop and support other business units to identify use cases and increase the use of data & analytics in a cross-functional role (e.g., Valuations, Corporate Finance, Restructuring, Global Infrastructure Project Group).
Utilize KPMG proprietary and third-party data analytics tools to deliver deeper insights.
Develop analytical procedures and templates for broader team capability enhancement.
Establish credibility and develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
Ideal Candidate
Post-Secondary education equivalent to a university degree in Business or numerate or analytical disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science.
3+ years of work experience in a related field.
Experience in professional services and the deal environment an asset.
Minimum Education
University Degree (Bachelor's or equivalent)
