Description

The Consultant, Business Analytics will support Simplii Financial's tactical and strategic initiatives, including identifying client segments, analyzing fund movements, and evaluating campaigns. The role involves providing analytical and technical leadership, developing innovative solutions, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders within a hybrid work environment. This position requires 2-3 days per week on-site, with the remaining days remote.

What We're Looking For

Apply descriptive analytics to analyze data, validate assumptions, and articulate results related to funds and clients.,Manipulate raw deposit funds, sales data, and client data sets for analysis and provide recommendations to business partners.,Collaborate with multiple business partners to develop and deliver regular and ad hoc management sales reporting and value-add analysis for Simplii Financial.,Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of business partner needs.,Integrate and manipulate various data sources for reporting to assess performance and/or profitability.,Responsible for ongoing and/or ad hoc business level reporting support.,Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly core sales reports/dashboards and value-added analysis.,Present analytic results, insights, and findings to management on an ongoing basis.,Collaborate with subject matter experts across Simplii (Product, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Research, Operations, etc.).

Ideal Candidate

Work experience and technical knowledge in Databricks, SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.,Strong foundation in data sourcing, manipulation, and reporting techniques.,Proficient in developing Power BI visualizations and dashboards.,University degree or diploma in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Analytics, and Mathematics.,A post-graduate business degree is beneficial.,Three years of experience.
