This role involves joining CIBC's Core Banking and Payments Technology Team to contribute to the bank's digital transformation. The consultant will be responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems, focusing on building flexible and personalized banking solutions.

What We're Looking For

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Go and Java.,Develop, test, and debug computer programs for assignments.,Review, analyze, and modify programming systems.,Build full-stack solutions integrating with multiple systems, data sources, and external APIs.,Participate in the technical design, development, and integration of application systems.,Interact with stakeholders, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications.

Ideal Candidate

1+ years of experience in transaction processing.,Experience with ISO8583 or ISO20022.,Experience working on Visa, Mastercard, or Interac issuing or acquiring systems.,Proficiency in Go (Golang) or Java.
