Consultant, Application Development (Archer Development)

Description

This role is for an Application Consultant within CIBC’s Enterprise Security Technology team, focusing on digital transformation and delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects. The consultant will design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions to enhance client experience, lead technical design and integration, and contribute to multi-year technology roadmaps. They will also lead development teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor other developers.

What We're Looking For

Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities.,Design technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.,Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.,Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals.,Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.,Act as the development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals.,Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

Ideal Candidate

3-4 years of experience in successful deployments of RSA Archer v6.5 and higher.,Prior experience as an Archer developer/administrator in a large organization, preferably a large bank.,Experience with implementing custom RSA Archer configurations; mainly IT Risk Management and Third Party Risk Management use cases.,Experience integrating data feeds into RSA Archer and Data Imports using HTTP, db, file and JavaScript transporters.
