This role is a key position within Industrial Alliance, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining the insurance risk management framework and providing independent oversight of insurance risk exposure across the organization. What We're Looking For

Lead the improvement and implementation of the insurance risk surveillance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.,Oversee insurance risk exposures, including mortality, morbidity, longevity, surrender, catastrophe, and expense risks.,Evaluate key actuarial assumptions and methodologies used in pricing, reserving, and capital models.,Provide independent review and feedback on new product and pricing decisions.,Contribute to Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and stress testing programs from an insurance risk perspective.,Develop and maintain dashboards, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and insurance risk reports for senior management and relevant committees.,Monitor emerging insurance risks, industry trends, and regulatory developments, providing proactive analysis and recommendations.,Evaluate reinsurance agreements and strategies from a risk perspective and support improvements in reinsurance decision-making.,Review reinsurance terms and contractual clauses to ensure alignment with group-wide insurance practices and harmonization standards.,Support business sectors in applying rigorous risk management practices and ensure product development decisions comply with the risk management framework.,Promote risk culture through training, education, and coaching across the organization.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or any other relevant field.,Minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance or actuarial science, ideally in risk management or oversight.,Demonstrated strong understanding of life and health insurance products, pricing, actuarial valuation, and capital frameworks.
