iA Auto and Home Insurance (iAAH) is seeking an Actuarial Advisor in P&C Pricing to join one of its pricing teams. The role involves contributing to pricing work that supports the organization's competitiveness and profitable growth, leveraging expertise in property and casualty insurance, analytical rigor, and communication skills within an agile team. The advisor will work on both auto and home insurance, collaborate across departments, contribute to the development of actuarial analysts, and provide perspective on complex business issues. What We're Looking For
Conduct in-depth actuarial analyses in auto and home pricing to guide rate, segmentation, or algorithm adjustments and diagnose issues.,Lead continuous monitoring of key indicators to guide strategic adjustments in response to market dynamics.,Produce rate indications for management, considering claims trends and competitiveness to support optimal rate level positioning.,Propose innovative avenues to improve risk segmentation and evolve actuarial models.,Participate in research and development of new pricing variables and integration of external data.,Utilize modeling and data processing skills to support pricing analyses and initiatives.,Collaborate on cross-functional projects impacting products and processes.,Contribute to the development of actuarial analysts by sharing experience and knowledge.,Represent actuarial expertise in multidisciplinary working groups.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science.,Minimum five years of relevant experience.,FCAS or FICA designation is an asset.
