Description

The Senior Advisor, Procurement will be responsible for acquiring professional IT services and digital technologies. This role involves guiding internal clients through the entire procurement process, from defining needs to contract awards, while ensuring accountability. The advisor will act as a category manager, understanding market trends to develop efficient procurement strategies, manage tenders, analyze submissions, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations to optimize business efficiency and generate savings.

What We're Looking For

Develop and maintain trusting relationships with internal clients, advising on procurement processes and best practices.,Conduct business, market, and risk analyses for the portfolio, identifying opportunities and recommending procurement strategies.,Collaborate with internal clients to analyze issues, risks, and sourcing options during needs definition and tender drafting.,Draft various procurement documents including tenders, amendments, contracts, and selection grids.,Organize, coordinate, and facilitate selection and decision committees for tenders.,Analyze submissions, negotiate optimal technical and commercial conditions, and recommend contract awards.,Coordinate the contractual process and liaise with legal affairs.,Award contracts and prepare necessary communications.,Act as an ambassador for strategic procurement, promoting it internally and serving as a key reference.,Contribute to improving the department's operational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate

Ability to identify business efficiency opportunities and translate them into procurement strategies.,Aptitude to mobilize stakeholders and communicate clearly.,Capacity to perform qualitative and quantitative portfolio reports through in-depth analyses.,Effective management of multiple files and a strong sense of priorities.,Excellent organization, structured document management, and regular updating of monitoring tools.,Good negotiation skills.,Curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and team spirit.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree an asset)
