The iA Private Wealth Wealth Management Advice Center offers a personalized and comprehensive approach to financial planning, investment management, and client protection, primarily through virtual and digital channels. This role involves acting as a trusted financial partner, delivering expert wealth planning and tailored investment strategies to a diverse clientele. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing customized financial plans, providing informed investment advice, evaluating client insurance needs, and recommending suitable protection products. The focus is on relationship management, understanding unique financial goals, and crafting personalized solutions, including comprehensive insurance strategies, leveraging virtual and digital engagement to foster strong client relationships and drive business growth.

What We're Looking For

Proactively develop and grow a client portfolio through service-oriented sales strategies to achieve business development objectives, including identifying and addressing insurance needs. Cultivate long-term client relationships by understanding their financial goals and providing tailored advice, integrating comprehensive insurance solutions. Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through asset consolidation, addressing insurance needs, and facilitating recommendations. Develop holistic financial plans integrating investment and insurance strategies based on individual client circumstances and objectives. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information in client accounts and documentation. Execute client transactions accurately and promptly. Stay informed of regulatory rules and industry developments in investments and insurance. Monitor market trends and economic developments that may impact client portfolios. Lead team discussions on industry changes, internal changes, and product knowledge. Follow up with clients regarding required missing documentation. Maintain client records and information in appropriate systems. Accurately document all client interactions and transactions. Respond promptly and efficiently to client requests and inquiries. Resolve issues and process client transactions promptly and accurately, escalating issues to the Director if necessary. Understand the required documentation for all types of client accounts. Ensure compliance with team policies and procedures. Collaborate with business partners and independent advisors to enhance client service and offerings.

Ideal Candidate

2 to 3 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, financial planning, or a similar role. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good telephone etiquette and ability to maintain focus during client conversations. Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends. Proficiency in investment and retirement planning to meet client needs. Solid sales experience. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to take initiative and work autonomously. Ability to meet deadlines and objectives. Good understanding of industry and firm compliance regulations.

Minimum Education

Canadian Securities Course (CCVM) completed, Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) completed, Wealth Management Essentials (WME) completed or in progress, Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) completed. Preference for CIRO registered Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR), and CLU®, Pl. Fin., PFP®, QAFP®, and/or CFP® designations.
