The Software Designer will play a key role in the design and evolution of strategic technological solutions, particularly within major transformation programs like EVO and Modernia. This position involves contributing to sustainable and innovative technological solutions in the individual insurance, savings, and retirement sectors, and leveraging technical expertise, overall vision, and leadership in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Perform detailed technical and systemic design of solutions, in accordance with targeted architectures (software engineering, application integration, information security, data management).,Integrate and promote the use of artificial intelligence in design and development workflows.,Design structured, high-performing, innovative, and reusable technological components.,Collaborate closely on architectural work and act as a key technical contributor to delivery teams.,Supervise and, if necessary, execute the most complex technical components, ensuring compliance with design, integration, development, and information security standards.,Promote the reuse of existing components and participate in the selection of software packages, cloud services, or external solutions.,Work collaboratively with Business and IT teams to deliver viable, effective solutions aligned with corporate frameworks.,Conduct technology watch and contribute to the evolution and promotion of advanced frameworks, methodologies, tools, and practices.,Produce, validate, and maintain technical and design documentation for solution longevity.,Supervise and support internal and external resources involved in solution implementation.,Act as a technical spokesperson to governance bodies and contribute to solution operationalization and deployment.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.,More than 5 years of experience in information technology, including at least 3 years in a domain of expertise.,Proficiency in modern development frameworks and methodologies (Agile, SAFe®, SDLC, DevOps, MVP).,Strong expertise in Microsoft environments (C#, .NET, Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Copilot).,Good knowledge of Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React), modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, CQRS), and cloud and automated deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka).,Recognized for communication, technical popularization, and influential leadership skills.,Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving abilities.,Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (asset).
