Compliance Risk Advisor

Description

The Compliance Risk Advisor supports the execution of centralized compliance programs and the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) framework for CIBC Bank USA. This role involves monitoring regulatory developments, managing compliance risks, and leading initiatives related to business continuity and records management.

What We're Looking For

Assist in implementing and maintaining centralized compliance programs, including regulatory developments, risk mitigation, issues management, business continuity, and records management.,Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, identifying relevant state laws and regulations.,Collaborate with the compliance team to assess the impact of regulatory changes and support mitigation strategies.,Serve as the lead for business continuity and records management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.,Support identification, tracking, and resolution of compliance issues, ensuring timely escalation and remediation.,Contribute to the enhancement of the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) framework.,Prepare reports and presentations for management on compliance risks, regulatory changes, and program effectiveness.,Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness.,Work on Special Projects.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.,3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related discipline within the financial services industry.,Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.,Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.,Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.,Experience with business continuity and records management programs preferred.
