The Complex Operations Manager at RBC Wealth Management monitors all complex operations activities, including the acceptance and distribution of client funds and securities. This role involves coaching and supervising complex operations associates to ensure compliance with branch, firm, and regulatory policies. Key responsibilities include overseeing client fund and securities transactions, reviewing and approving cost basis changes, communicating margin-related issues, generating reports, assisting with associate onboarding and training, resolving operational issues, coordinating system maintenance, and securing the cashiering office.
Oversee the delivery and receipt of all client funds and securities.,Review and approve cost basis changes and communicate margin-related issues to Financial Advisors and Client Associates, and then communicate resolution to the margin department.,Provide daily and monthly reports to the Complex Administrative Manager.,Partner with the Complex Administrative Manager to onboard and train new and existing associates.,Maintain strong and cooperative relationships between the operations associates and the offices in the complex by quickly and efficiently resolving issues and escalating problems.,Coordinate the maintenance of all operations-related systems and equipment for IT related projects, activities, changes and issues.,Secure the complex cashiering office at all times.,Minimum of 5 years of financial services industry experience.,Working knowledge of fixed income products, equities, mutual funds, insurance, annuities, the stock market, investments and retirement plans.,Series 7, 66 (or 63/65 licenses).,Attention to detail along with strong math, organizational and problem solving skills.,Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.,Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
Bachelor's degree (preferred).,Previous supervisory or management experience (preferred).,Series 8 (or 9/10) license or the ability to obtain within 12 months (preferred).
