Description

This role at the Royal Bank of Canada involves a range of operational duties, including accurately recording and processing client checks, securities, and coupons, ensuring correct account crediting, and transmitting daily deposits. Key responsibilities also include promptly notifying Financial Advisors of received funds, managing syndicate tickets with proper documentation, and correcting trade-related errors in compliance with regulatory policies. Additionally, the associate will handle general office tasks such as mail distribution and correspondence maintenance.

What We're Looking For

Accurately record and credit all checks, securities, and coupons received from clients.

Transmit all checks received for deposit daily.

Promptly notify Financial Advisors and Client Associates of all received checks.

Enter syndicate tickets promptly and ensure completion with required documentation and management approvals.

Facilitate timely correction of trade-related errors by following RBC's regulatory policies and procedures.

Perform general office responsibilities, including opening and distributing mail, stamping outgoing mail, and maintaining correspondence.

1+ years of general office experience.

Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate

Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience (Nice-to-have)

Prior financial services experience (Nice-to-have)

Series 7 & 66 (or 63/65) (Nice-to-have)

Advanced math skills (Nice-to-have)
