Description

The Complex Auto PD Claims Advisor II at TD Insurance is responsible for managing complex automobile property damage claims from start to finish. This includes handling third-party property damage, rental exposures, specialty vehicles, and multi-exposure losses. The role requires ensuring clear and professional communication with all stakeholders, exercising sound judgment regarding risk, coverage, liability, and indemnity, and maintaining accurate claim documentation. Advisors are expected to contribute to knowledge sharing, participate in professional development, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure defensible claim outcomes, all while acting as a brand ambassador for TD.

What We're Looking For

Participate fully as a member of the Complex Automobile Property Damage team, supporting a positive and accountable work environment.,Manage complex auto property damage claims end-to-end, including third-party property damage, rental exposures, specialty vehicles, and multi-exposure losses.,Ensure timely, clear, and professional communication with insureds, third parties, vendors, legal counsel, internal partners, and leadership.,Exercise sound judgment when identifying risk, coverage issues, liability concerns, indemnity exposure, and escalation points.,Maintain accurate, thorough, and defensible claim documentation.,Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Complex team and across the broader claims organization.,Actively participate in performance management, technical development, and cross-training initiatives.,Partner effectively with internal departments to ensure informed, consistent, and well-supported claim decisions.,Support a fair, inclusive, and respectful workplace.,Act as a brand ambassador for the organization.,Apply an advanced level of technical knowledge and judgment to assess, investigate, and resolve complex auto property damage claims.,Independently evaluate liability, causation, scope of damage, depreciation, and settlement strategy within assigned authority limits.,Establish and maintain appropriate reserves in accordance with reserving protocols.

Ideal Candidate

College or university degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.,5+ years of insurance industry experience.
