This role involves working on the design, development, implementation, and communication of compensation solutions (salary, short-term incentive, and equity programs) that align with RBC's Compensation Principles and comply with local remuneration policies for the UK and European groups. The analyst will advise HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior management on compensation programs, policies, and initiatives, ensuring adherence to remuneration rules and regulatory requirements, particularly within the Wealth Management platforms in the UK and Europe. The role also includes supporting Gender Pay and D&I initiatives through analysis and reporting.
Design base salary and incentive solutions aligned with RBC's attraction and engagement strategies and regulatory rules.
Provide advice and counsel on compensation solutions to Business Partners, including for major change initiatives, offers, retention, and addressing compensation discrepancies.
Help advance RBC's Gender Pay and D&I initiatives through analysis and reporting.
Participate in third-party market research and provide actionable insights and recommendations to HRBPs.
Administer the Compensation Year-End (YE) Cycle, ensuring tools are configured and assisting with decision-making on variable compensation, preparing HR Committee materials and regulatory submissions.
Leverage external networks for competitive intelligence and market trends.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness through continuous process improvement, automation, and streamlining.
Solid expertise in Compensation fundamentals.
Strong analytical skills and numeracy, with high levels of accuracy under pressure.
Strong planning, time management, and execution skills to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to manage and organize large volumes of information: absorb detail easily with strong, accurate recall.
Solid understanding of PRA, FCA and EBA remuneration regulations impacting UK financial institutions.
Logical thinker; able to plan action steps to conclude assignments on time.
Good verbal communication skills to discuss sensitive issues around pay.

Experience with Workday, SAP and ADP (Nice to Have).
