Description

This role involves developing and administering comprehensive compensation strategies, conducting job evaluations and salary benchmarking, analyzing compensation trends, and providing strategic recommendations for salary adjustments and incentive programs. The advisor will also ensure compliance with pay equity regulations, act as an advisor on compensation matters, and partner with HR and finance teams on annual reviews and budgeting. This position utilizes HRIS and compensation tools and requires staying updated on industry best practices and legislative changes.

What We're Looking For

Participate in the development and administration of comprehensive compensation strategies, policies, and frameworks.,Conduct advanced job evaluations and salary benchmarking.,Analyze compensation trends, perform market analysis, and provide strategic recommendations for salary adjustments and incentive programs.,Collaborate in the implementation of incentive and variable pay programs.,Ensure compliance with pay equity regulations, labor laws, and internal policies.,Act as an advisor to HR leadership and business units on compensation-related matters, including salary negotiations and policy interpretations.,Partner with HR and finance teams on annual compensation reviews, budgeting, and workforce planning.,Utilize HRIS and compensation tools to enhance reporting capabilities and improve decision-making processes.,Stay ahead of industry best practices, trends, and legislative updates impacting compensation.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial mathematics or a related field.,Master's degree is an asset.,At least 3 years of experience in compensation analysis, or a related field, with a focus on strategic compensation planning.,Experience in job evaluation methodologies, market pricing tools, and incentive program design.,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and compensation modeling.,In-depth knowledge of compensation regulations, pay equity compliance, and labor laws.,Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.,Experience with HRIS and compensation software.,Project and change management capabilities.,Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
