As a member of the CIBC Retail Banking team, the Community General Manager II is responsible for delivering superior financial results and increasing business volume. This involves leading and training a high-performing, multifunctional team of financial services representatives, specialists, and SME advisors. Their mandate is to provide a wide range of financial advisory services and solutions to clients across core, high-value, and SME segments. The Community General Manager focuses on client commitment and financial needs, and also oversees other banking centers in their community, which can include managing the High-Value Segment team.
**Personnel Leadership:** Lead and coach a high-performing sales team consisting of leaders, advisors, and representatives to deepen client relationships and grow CIBC's business. Provide relevant development opportunities to employees and encourage innovation in business practices. Promote CIBC within the community to recruit employees who share and embody the bank's values.,**Results-Oriented Leadership:** Foster a collaborative culture across multiple client offerings to ensure clients are served by the most appropriate individuals to help them achieve their financial goals. Monitor banking center operational performance and implement action plans to address any shortcomings. Collaborate with all partners to maximize market opportunities and increase overall banking center performance. Manage and minimize risk to protect the bank, its clients, and shareholders.,**Client Experience:** Lead by example and demonstrate to your team how to deepen client relationships and meet their financial needs while delivering high-quality customer service based on CIBC's client experience principles: Always Professional, Radically Simple, and Genuinely Caring. Certified professional with a valid and current mutual fund license (successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada Course).,Successful completion of one of the following courses is an asset: Branch Compliance Officer Course, Branch Manager's Course (CDS), Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.,Client-focused, bold and authentic leader, passionate about development and coaching, able to influence others, driven by success, adaptable and promotes change, committed to values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
