Description

This role involves leading and coaching a team of accredited financial advisors across multiple banking centers within a community. The manager will focus on deepening client relationships, achieving business growth by understanding client needs, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring effective operations, processes, controls, and compliance. They are also expected to champion CIBC within the community and proactively recruit talent. The goal is to make a meaningful impact and contribute to CIBC's growth.

What We're Looking For

Lead and coach a high-performing sales team of Advisors and Representatives to deepen client relationships and grow business to CIBC.,Provide meaningful development opportunities for employees and challenge them to re-think business approaches.,Advocate for CIBC within the community to recruit employees who share and demonstrate CIBC values.,Build a culture of collaboration across multiple client offers to best serve client financial goals.,Monitor Banking Centre’s business performance and implement action plans to address gaps.,Collaborate with partners to maximize market opportunities and increase overall Banking Centre performance.,Manage and minimize risk to safeguard the bank, clients, and shareholders.,Lead by example in providing a high standard of service using CIBC’s experience principles: Always Professional, Radically Simple, and Genuinely Caring.,Develop new and existing client relationships within the community.,Encourage employees to quickly resolve client complaints and escalate when necessary.,Possess a strong understanding of risk management required to lead accredited CIRO-MFD and CIRO-ID financial advisors.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).,4-5 years of people leadership experience leading across multiple locations and complexity of assets under management.,Asset if completed: Branch Compliance Officer’s Course (BCO), Branch Managers Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME); Professional Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Minimum Education

Professional Certifications (Mutual Funds License; BCO, BME, CPH, WME, PFP, CFP are assets)
