This role at CIBC Wood Gundy involves building and growing client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, investment advice, and exceptional client service. The Client Associate will collaborate with Investment Advisors to manage portfolios, develop new business, and directly engage high-net-worth clients to enhance their experience.
To succeed in this role, you will need to focus on client engagement by anticipating their needs, communicating promptly, and improving client experience. You will also be responsible for business development, identifying opportunities, and assisting Investment Advisors in creating investment plans. Additionally, building relationships within the community by attending local events and participating in marketing activities is crucial to heighten the CIBC brand and generate future opportunities.
Current accreditation as a Registered Representative (RR) licensed with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) and in good standing. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the brokerage industry and working knowledge of various quotation equipment are required.
