Description

The Client Associate at CIBC Wood Gundy is responsible for building and growing client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice, and exceptional client service. This role involves working closely with Investment Advisors to manage portfolios, develop new business, and proactively engage high-net-worth clients to offer support and improve their experience.

What We're Looking For

Focus on client experience, anticipating needs and communicating promptly to build trust and deepen client relationships. Identify opportunities to improve the client experience.,Proactively identify business opportunities, support Investment Advisors in business development activities, and assist in building investment plans based on client profiles, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.,Heighten CIBC brand awareness by attending local events, participating in marketing/outreach activities, and growing a network to generate future opportunities.,Current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).,Registered Representative (RR) licensing is considered an asset.,Required experience in the Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry and working knowledge of various quotation equipment.,Must be client-focused, driven to succeed, empathetic, detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills, and uphold values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID),Registered Representative (RR) licensing (asset),Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience,Working knowledge of various quotation equipment
