Description

The Client Associate (IR Licensed) at CIBC Wood Gundy is responsible for building and growing client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, investment advice, and exceptional client service. This role involves working closely with Investment Advisors to manage portfolios and develop new business, directly engaging with high-net-worth clients to provide support, identify business opportunities, and proactively improve their experience.

What We're Looking For

Client Engagement: Focus on the client experience, connect on a personal level, anticipate client needs, and communicate promptly to build trust and deepen relationships. Identify opportunities to improve the client experience.,Business Development: Proactively identify business opportunities, support Investment Advisors in business development activities, and assist in building investment plans based on client profiles, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.,Relationship Building: Enhance CIBC brand awareness through local events, marketing, outreach activities, and networking to generate future opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).,Brokerage industry experience is required.,Working knowledge of various quotation equipment is required.,Registered Representative (RR) licensing is an asset.
