Description

As an RBC Ambassador within their branches, the Client Advisor focuses on prioritizing clients' needs and offering suitable solutions. This role involves promoting the RBC brand, driving new client acquisition, and strengthening existing client relationships. Success in this position requires delivering exceptional customer service and thriving in a target-driven performance environment, with potential for career advancement to Account Manager or Banking Advisor roles.

What We're Looking For

Responsibilities include: Proactively engaging with clients in the branch, delivering excellent service through transactions, and identifying sales and referral opportunities. Focusing on client education and technology use to enhance the client experience and drive solutions. Contributing to team results by recognizing opportunities for further advice, introducing clients to RBC partners, or fulfilling client solutions personally. Taking ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems. Cultivating and maintaining partner relationships for a unified RBC team approach. Managing risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests.

Must-haves: Demonstrated passion for client-first service and success in a hands-on, target-driven solutions environment. Strong drive, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and emotional intelligence. Digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops). Personal flexibility to work flexible hours. Eagerness to learn and determination to succeed.

Ideal Candidate

Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial, service, or retail industry (nice-to-have). Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course) (nice-to-have).
