Responsibilities include proactively engaging clients in the branch and community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and find sales/referral opportunities; educating clients on technology; assisting with financial transactions; actively listening to understand client needs; resolving and preventing banking problems; and cultivating relationships with partners for business opportunities. Must-haves include a passion for client service, success in a target-driven sales environment, problem-solving and people skills, ability to build strong relationships, flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, hunger for success, and digital literacy. The candidate must be able to work all business hours.
Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) is a nice-to-have.
