Description

This position at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is for a Client Advisor Intern who will leverage their client-focused sales and problem-solving skills to improve client interactions. Key responsibilities include assisting clients with their daily banking needs, demonstrating digital banking solutions, onboarding new clients, and referring complex cases to specialists. The intern will act as an an RBC ambassador, aiming to create positive client experiences, drive satisfaction, and foster loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to identify banking needs, offer advice, and find sales/referral opportunities.,Educate clients and demonstrate technology to enhance their experience, drive sales, and retain business.,Assist clients with financial transactions upon their contact.,Listen actively to understand individual client needs.,Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking issues.,Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated passion for prioritizing clients and a track record of success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment (Must-have).,Strong problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build robust relationships and proactively engage with clients (Must-have).,Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success (Must-have).,Proficiency in digital literacy across various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) (Must-have).,Ability to work all business hours (Must-have).,Experience in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry (Nice-to-have).,Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) (Nice-to-have).
