Client Advisor - Markham & Scarborough - Mandarin/Cantonese Language

Description

This role is for a Client Advisor who will use their client-focused sales expertise and problem-solving skills to enhance client interactions. The successful candidate will assist clients with daily banking needs, act as an RBC representative, and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. Key activities include demonstrating digital banking, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We're Looking For

Proactively engage with clients in branches and the community to identify banking needs, offer advice, and uncover sales and referral opportunities.

Focus on educating clients and demonstrating technology to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.

Respond to client inquiries and assist with a full range of financial transactions.

Actively listen and engage with clients to understand their individual needs.

Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.

Demonstrated passion for a client-first approach and a track record of success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.

Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build robust relationships and proactively connect with clients.

Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a drive for success.

Digital literacy across various devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Ability to work all business hours.

Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese.

Ideal Candidate

Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) is an asset.

Work Hours

Minimum 20 hours/week, up to 37.5 hours/week, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable.

Special Commitments

Must be fully available to work during RBC's retail branch hours of operation, including extended hours Monday through Saturday until 8:00 PM and Sunday as applicable.
