Description

This role is for a client-focused sales professional who will maximize client interactions by helping with everyday banking needs, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists. The ambassador will leverage technology to enhance the client experience and contribute to overall client satisfaction and loyalty within RBC's Ottawa communities. The position is for current and future part-time and full-time opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Responsibilities include: Proactively engaging with clients in the branch and community to identify banking needs, provide advice, and uncover sales/referral opportunities; focusing on client education and digital banking demonstrations; assisting clients with financial transactions; actively listening to understand individual needs; taking ownership of resolving client banking problems; and cultivating relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

Must-haves include: demonstrated passion for client focus and success in a target-driven sales environment, problem-solving and people skills to build strong relationships, flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, hunger for success, and digital literacy across various devices. Nice-to-haves include: a track record in building and maintaining client relationships in the financial or service industry, and Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
