This role involves building and managing client portfolios for CIBC Wood Gundy through dedicated relationship management, investment advice, and exceptional client service. The Client Associate will collaborate with Investment Advisors to support business development, manage portfolios, engage with high-net-worth clients, and improve client experience.
Focus on client experience and personal connection in interactions. Anticipate client needs and communicate with the team to build trust and deepen relationships. Identify opportunities to improve the client experience. Proactively identify business opportunities and support Investment Advisors in building investment plans based on client profiles, goals, and risk tolerance. Enhance CIBC brand awareness through local events, marketing, and networking to generate future opportunities.
Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID). Registered Representative (RR) licensing is an asset. Required financial services and/or brokerage industry experience and working knowledge of various quotation equipment.
37.5 hours/week
Must be legally eligible to work in specified locations and possess a valid work or study permit. May require completion of an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (e.g., simulation, coding, French proficiency).
