Description

This role as a Chief IT Applicative Analyst within National Bank's Capital Markets organization involves analyzing business and operational needs to translate them into functional and application solutions, working with cross-functional teams. The analyst also contributes to solution definition and supports production systems, focusing on cleared derivatives in a capital markets IT environment. It is suited for professionals with strong functional expertise, application environment understanding, or an interest in system support.

What We're Looking For

Work closely with various stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, processes, and new initiatives.

Translate requirements into clear, structured, and traceable functional and application specifications.

Perform system configurations to address business requirements.

Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations, and IT teams (development, application support, architecture).

Participate in solution definition, impact analyses, and functional workshops.

Contribute to system support activities, including incident, issue, and operational request analysis and follow-up.

Collaborate with IT teams on investigation and resolution of application issues.

Participate in agile deliveries, including backlog management, functional testing (UAT), go-live, and post-deployment stabilization.

Ensure rigorous documentation of requirements, processes, decisions, and support procedures.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and application solutions.

Ideal Candidate

University degree in business administration, information technology, finance, or a related field.

Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in an IT and capital markets environment.

Strong experience in functional analysis and requirements documentation.

Solid understanding of application systems, transactional flows, and support activities.

Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a fast-paced, critical environment.
