Description

CAA-Québec is looking for a tow truck driver (Class 5) in Lachine to assist members daily. The role involves performing safety checks, providing various roadside assistance services like towing, flat tire repair, unlocking, boosting, and escorting. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with day or evening shifts, including one weekend out of two, in a stimulating, human-centered, and team-oriented work environment.

What We're Looking For

Perform daily truck safety checks in accordance with regulations.,Assist members on the road by providing roadside assistance services (towing, flat tire, unlocking, boosting, escorting).,Offer courteous and quality customer service, reflecting CAA-Québec values.,Maintain communication with the supervisor in case of unforeseen situations.,Ensure the vehicle is refueled and clean for the next colleague after your shift.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma (DES) or relevant vocational diploma (DEP) in towing, transport, or mechanics (or equivalence test as part of the process).,Valid Class 5 driver's license with a good driving record.

Work Hours

Special Commitments

Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.,Ability to perform physical tasks without limitations: crouching for prolonged periods, pushing/pulling loads up to 40 kg, lifting loads up to 30 kg to shoulder height, sitting for 30-minute periods, working in restrictive postures.
