CAA-Québec is looking for a tow truck driver (Class 5) for the greater Gatineau region. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with 12-hour shifts, working one weekend out of two. The role involves assisting members on the road with various services like towing, flat tires, unlocking, boosting, and accompaniment, ensuring excellent customer service. The driver will also be responsible for vehicle safety checks and maintenance.
Perform daily safety checks of the truck.,Provide roadside assistance services including towing, tire changes, unlocking vehicles, battery boosts, and accompaniment.,Offer courteous and quality customer service aligned with CAA-Québec values.,Maintain communication with supervisors for unforeseen situations.,Ensure the vehicle is fueled and clean after each shift for the next colleague.,Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.,Ability to perform physical tasks: prolonged crouching, pushing/pulling up to 40 kg, lifting up to 30 kg to shoulder height, sitting for 30-minute periods, working in restrictive postures.
High School Diploma or relevant DEP (Diploma of Professional Studies) in towing, transport, or mechanics (or pass an equivalency test).,Valid Class 5 driver's license with a good driving record.,Knowledge of mechanics and the Gatineau and Ottawa regions.
