CAA-Québec is looking for a part-time tow truck driver (class 5) in Quebec City. The role involves assisting members on the road with towing, tire changes, unlocking vehicles, jump-starts, and providing transportation. The position offers variable hours, primarily evenings and weekends, and requires a passion for driving and customer service.
Take possession of the vehicle at the depot and perform a safety check.
Assist members on the road (towing, flat tires, unlocking, boosting, accompaniment).
Provide courteous and quality customer service.
Refuel and clean the vehicle after each shift for the next colleague.
Ability to remain crouched for extended periods.
Ability to push and pull loads up to 40 kg.
Ability to lift loads up to 30 kg to shoulder height.
Ability to sit for periods of at least 30 minutes.
Ability to work in demanding postures or meet other physical requirements.
DES (High School Diploma) or DEP (Vocational Diploma) in towing, transportation, or mechanics.
Valid driver's license (Class 5 implied).
Good driving record.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Good physical condition and enjoyment of outdoor work.
Knowledge of mechanics.
Knowledge of the Quebec region.
High School Diploma (DES) or Vocational Diploma (DEP)
