Description
Saputo is seeking a Class 1 driver for its St-Laurent distribution center. The role involves transporting merchandise between plants using 53-foot trailer trucks, primarily covering 7 locations within Quebec, starting from Ville Saint-Laurent. The position offers a positive and clean work environment with opportunities for professional development, a family-like atmosphere, and a good work-life balance, allowing drivers to return home after each shift without manual handling tasks.
What We're Looking For
Transport merchandise across Saputo's 7 Quebec locations (Ville Saint-Laurent, Saint-Léonard, Boucherville, Saint-Hyacinthe, Mont-Laurier, Plessisville, Saint-Raymond).
Work with trucks equipped with the ISAAC electronic log system.
Perform trailer movements within the yards of distribution centers and factories.
No manual handling of goods.
Ideal Candidate
Valid Class 1 driver's license with FM or F endorsement
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
Ability to work with refrigeration units (asset)
Ability to work with a handheld computer (invoicing and credit) and an electronic log sheet (asset)
