Description

This role is for an individual to join the APAC Trade Operations team, focusing on confirmations and settlements for various Capital Markets products including Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Funding, Global Precious Metals, and Money Markets. The position involves processing and supporting Singapore desks, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and assisting in the development of business requirements and project testing for new initiatives. This is an ongoing recruitment effort, with applications reviewed continually for suitable opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Perform confirmation matching, settlement processing, and corporate action processing.

Investigate and resolve post-settlement reconciliation breaks in a timely manner.

Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure operating processes are globally aligned.

Assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

Potentially act as a member or lead small-scale initiatives or projects.

Ideal Candidate

Highly motivated individual with strong decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Solid knowledge of capital market products (Derivatives, Fixed income, FX, Money Market, Equities) and their operational functions in confirmations and settlement.

Good understanding of APAC Capital markets, Currencies, and Fixed Income/Equities confirmation and settlement.

Ability to work under time pressure, multi-task, and provide coverage to different desks.

Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with initiative to follow up and resolve items.

Attention to detail and high personal standards for accuracy and quality of work.

A solid team player with high energy and strong interpersonal skills.

Special Commitments

May include working the morning shift (7am to 4pm SGT) to cover New Zealand and Australia markets and on Singapore Public Holidays (rotational basis).
