Cagewash Technician I

Description

The Cagewash Technician I is responsible for maintaining facility equipment, including performing preventative maintenance on cagewashers and autoclaves. Key duties involve sanitizing, maintaining, and repairing animal caging materials, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of cagewash and animal holding facilities, and assisting with supply inventory. The role also requires preparing and submitting necessary records and actively engaging with customers to address inquiries and provide technical support.

What We're Looking For

Sanitize, maintain, and repair animal caging materials.,Ensure cagewash and animal holding facilities are kept in a clean and organized manner.,Assist with the receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply inventories.,Prepare and submit required written records, charts, logs, and inventories.,Actively interact with customers to resolve requests, inquiries, and complaints, and to provide technical assistance.,A resume/CV must be uploaded and submitted during the application process.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent.,Experience and/or training working with mechanical equipment preferred.
