Description

This position involves sanitizing, maintaining, and repairing animal cagewash materials. Key responsibilities include adhering to standard operating procedures and quality assurance standards, performing routine preventative maintenance on cagewash and autoclaves, ensuring animal holding facilities are clean and organized, assisting with inventory management, and potentially engaging in animal care and husbandry.

What We're Looking For

Follow SOPs and quality assurance standards,Perform routine preventative maintenance on cagewash and autoclaves,Maintain animal holding facilities clean and organized,Assist with receipt, stocking and maintenance of inventory supplies,Become involved in animal care and husbandry of multiple animal species

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED preferred,Knowledge of detergent/disinfectant and operating knowledge of sanitization and sterilization equipment,Cagewash experience preferred,Must be successful in obtaining the ALAT (Assistant Lab Animal Technician) Certification within 1 year of eligibility
