Business Systems Specialist - Securities-Based Lending Platform (US)

Description

This role involves working as a Senior Business System Analyst/Specialist with Project Management experience within the Private Banking and Lending Technology team. The specialist will collaborate with business users, internal technology teams, and vendors to analyze, map, and document platform ecosystem needs and specifications for the Securities-Based Lending platform. They will also provide subject matter expertise and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle to deliver best-in-class products and services.

What We're Looking For

Communicate with programmers to ensure understanding of business processes and user requirements.,Work with programmers to ensure delivered system matches specified features and functions.,Assess available technologies and recommend innovative, cost-effective solutions.,Analyze business challenges and recommend appropriate IT solutions and services.,Map current business processes to new systems and support the transition.,Determine interface requirements for effective system transition.,Resolve issues crossing multiple systems or departments affecting business processes.,Develop detailed specification documents including features and functions of the new system.,Develop test plans and test case scenarios to guarantee new system design meets business requirements.,Implement new system installations, upgrades, and conversions.,Document selected system parameters, file layouts, and application design layouts.,Track open issues and their resolution.

Ideal Candidate

4 Year Degree or equivalent experience.,7+ Years of related experience.,Excellent communications, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.,Progressively responsible experience in large-scale corporate systems analysis.,Previous management experience required.,Ability to work with system users to develop specifications and requirements, applying business systems knowledge.,Ability to independently translate user requirements into technical specifications.,Experience with end-to-end technology product delivery in big 4 technology consulting or Fintech industry (Preferred).,Experience in Lending or Capital Market industries (Preferred).,Experience managing technical products or online services (Preferred).,Experience designing integration solutions and leading technical integration work (Preferred).,Good understanding of integration patterns, APIs, ETL, and other related technology (Preferred).,Experience managing regulatory compliance programs (Preferred).,In-depth knowledge of JIRA and Confluence and experience developing business/technical workflows, process mapping, use cases, epics, capabilities, features, and user stories (Preferred).,Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence senior business partners (Preferred).,Methodical, attention to detail, and ability to produce professional, complete work product (Preferred).,Self-driven individual with an ownership mind-set and strong work ethic (Preferred).,Proactive team player, willing to share knowledge (Preferred).
