Business System Analyst, Global Derivatives Technology

Description

Join CIBC's Global Derivatives Technology (Capital Markets Technology) team to lead complex projects in designing strategic solutions aligned with CIBC's enterprise architecture roadmap. This role involves supporting end-to-end project implementation, acting as a subject matter expert in both business and technology, and collaborating to create innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience. The work arrangement (on-site and remote proportion) will be discussed during the interview process.

What We're Looking For

Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to meet project needs.,Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen, and ask relevant questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.,Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.,Prepare and validate solution design documents.,Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.,Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.,Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members in resolving organizational, operational, and process problems.

Ideal Candidate

2+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role, preferably within financial services.,Experience with SQL and Excel.,Experience in impact analysis, investigation, problem-solving, production issues, and product enhancements.,Knowledge of Capital Market OTC derivative products (an asset).,Experience with Agile methodologies (an asset).,Experience with Application and/or Architecture Development (an asset).
