Description

The Manager, Control & Business Insight Specialist within Enterprise Stress Testing, Treasury and Balance Sheet Management, is responsible for using models to forecast Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) and balance sheet for the wholesale banking segment. This role supports the Bank's capital planning and assessment process through various stress testing programs like EWST, DFAST, and MST. The specialist will apply financial analysis skills, control function experience, and an understanding of wholesale banking businesses, collaborating with various internal partners across the bank.

What We're Looking For

Establish ad-hoc stress testing processes in wholesale banking to manage emerging risks and uncertainties.,Develop scenario-appropriate estimation approaches for various ad hoc stress testing programs, leveraging existing models and processes.,Analyze stress testing results, understand their reasonability, and prepare presentation material for wholesale bank.,Be familiar with the model suites and provide standby support to the execution team during formal stress testing programs.,Responsible for the development and maintenance of the team's control procedures.,Responsible for the oversight of control execution and evidence of controls for stress testing team's processes, and support 1B, 2nd & 3rd Line of Defense in their review.,Responsible for various control initiatives and ensure compliance with the Bank's standards and practices, including EUC, data, non-model.,Lead or support projects or ad hoc initiatives to investigate issues and identify solutions.,Continuously strive for improvement and automation in the processes.,Provide support to governance activities as required.

Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated skills in communicating complex issues and financial analysis to a diverse audience.,Strong accounting or finance background, with the ability to read, understand, and interpret balance sheets and income statements.,Prior experience in financial reporting, planning and forecast, and control functions.,Ability to manage deadlines, multiple tasks and adapt well to changing priorities.,Must be curious and analytical to understand new concepts quickly.,Experience in supporting wholesale businesses and knowledge of wholesale products and processes.,Knowledge of wholesale stress testing processes (an asset).,Proven ability to work in a team, provide training, fostering a positive and rewarding work environment.
