Description

The Business Development Manager will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with automotive, leisure, marine, and RV dealerships. This role involves developing and executing business development strategies to grow the loan portfolio and increase market share for National Bank in Northern Alberta, with a base in Edmonton. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, adapting plans to market changes, ensuring client satisfaction, and enhancing the Bank's visibility through industry events.

What We're Looking For

Identify emerging business opportunities and provide recommendations.

Execute and adapt business plans based on market conditions.

Establish and maintain effective communication with dealers and internal stakeholders.

Cultivate preferred client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

Increase the visibility of the Bank's products and services through participation in external activities and industry events.

Travel 80% of the time within the assigned region.

Possess a car and valid driver's license.

Ability to maintain a home office.

Ideal Candidate

Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).

Five years' relevant experience (preferred).

Demonstrated success in B2B business development.

Experience in account management, sales, and customer service (asset).

Experience in the Indirect Consumer Financing industry or leasing (asset).
