The Business Development Manager will join a dynamic team within CIBC Asset Management, focusing on increasing market share with existing clients and developing new business relationships through prospecting. The role involves primarily telephone sales with occasional in-person client meetings, working with a Director, Regional Sales in a defined territory.
Prospect for new business with Advisors over the telephone, including regular follow-ups.,Maintain full knowledge of current CIBC Asset Management products, market trends, and investment strategies.,Deliver product information and business development tools to Advisors at client meetings.,Strengthen existing business relationships to achieve sales targets.
Experience in telephone sales within the mutual fund/wealth management industry (an asset).,Knowledge and interest in current trends in the broker/dealer industry, bond, and capital markets.,Current accreditation and good standing Canadian Securities Course (CSC) preferred.,Degree in a related field.,Fluent in French and English.
